Description

Andrea Lucas Studios is an eclectic stained glass and folk art studio located in the historic Irondale area, directly next to The Irondale Café—affectionately known through Fannie Flagg’s novel Fried Green Tomatoes.

The owner Andrea Lucas is a stained glass artist of more than a decade who has been pivotal in the folk art scene through her dedication to showcasing local artists. Mrs. Lucas has been a driving force in introducing dozens of artists to a diverse group of enthusiasts from across the nation through her monthly Hootenannies. She has also created hundreds of pieces of stained glass windows, most notably her 50 square-foot stained glass window that took two years to create for Knesseth Israel Synagogue and spurred Fox6 to feature Mrs. Lucas on Absolutely Alabama with Fred Hunter in 2008.
