With approximately 500,000 visitors per year, your Birmingham Zoo remains one of Alabama’s top tourist attractions and is approaching a busy spring and summer. Here are the newest updates on hours, activities, and one heck of a party to help rebuild Carlito’s habitat, the zoo’s resident giant anteater.

Extended Hours Starting March 13

Spring ahead and see more animals. With the start of daylight saving time this Sunday, your Birmingham Zoo will be extending its hours.
