The national publication recently released its list of “The Best 75 Hidden Gem Cities for Snowbirds,” and Birmingham earned the No. 24 spot. AD’s Amanda Lutz used four criteria to rank the cities – housing and lodging availability, Yelp ratings for activities and eateries, home sale prices, and winter weather conditions. Birmingham placed fourth in cost, 17 in activities and dining, 32 in housing and lodging availability, and 56 in weather rank.
