While cruising through Birmingham on his most recent concert tour with Vince Gill, Lyle Lovett stopped to sample SAW’s BBQ in the suburb of Homewood. He made a couple of new friends while dining and posted this on social media: “The barbecue at SAW’s was excellent Southern-style barbecue, chicken with white sauce and pork—no beef. Sides were also Southern-style. I had collard greens and cornbread with my coleslaw and sampler plate. The service was fast and friendly.” Read all about it here.
