Birmingham is always enthusiastic when it comes to good food, so it’s little wonder it’s hard to get a seat at the new OvenBird restaurant. Chef Chris Hastings already has built a huge following at his Hot and Hot Fish Club restaurant and now has opened a second dining room serving dinner at historic Pepper Place. The menu takes inspiration from the live fire traditions of Spain, Portugal, Uruguay, Argentina and of course the American South.
