The world’s largest collection of vintage and modern motorcycles is planning to expand. The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum announced it will begin an expansion that will add more than 84,000 square feet to the facility. The museum currently houses the famous collection in 144,000 square feet in five stories. Many of the bikes now in storage will be brought out for display when the expansion is complete. The project is expected to open by fall 2016. The adjacent Barber Motorsports Park, one of the finest tracks in the world, is home to the Porsche Sport Driving School, the Mercedes-Benz Brand Immersion Program, the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, and the Triumph Superbike Challenge. http://www.barbermuseum.org/
