Frankly, we don’t know why anyone would be surprised by appealing locations in Birmingham, but recently Great American Country said they found some surprises here. They mention our “forward-thinking art galleries” and say we’re dripping with Southern charm. That’s not surprising. Other places they were taken with included Railroad Park, where “the entire downtown area has been revitalized, showing how progressive this city truly is.” They also were surprised to find the world’s largest collection of vintage motorcycles and Lotus cars at Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.
