It’s never too soon to get previews of films scheduled to be screened at Birmingham’s Sidewalk Film Festival, August 28-30. One film on the lineup, “The Wolfpack,” has received considerable attention nationwide. The six real-life Angulo brothers have rarely been allowed out of their Lower East Side of Manhattan apartment until one brother escapes. Also look for “Alabama Barbecue Legends,” a documentary by Birmingham’s own Norton Dill, and “Welcome to Leith,” in which a white supremacist tries to take over a small North Dakota town. The schedule also includes “Applesauce,” the unraveling of a man who answers the question, “What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done?” And so many more.
