Deontay Wilder is bringing to Birmingham the first fight to defend his title. A native of Tuscaloosa, Wilder recently won the World Boxing Council world heavyweight title, and will defend that title against Eric Molina at Bartow Arena on June 13. Molina is a Texas native with a record of 23-2 with 17 KOs. This will be Wilder’s first professional fight in Alabama since 2012 and the first title fight Alabama has ever hosted.
