Silver Airways is expanding to the Birmingham market with flights to two new cities and the Bahamas. Beginning June 16, the airline will offer nonstop twice-daily service between Birmingham and New Orleans. The airline will also provide nonstop, daily weekday service between Birmingham and Jacksonville, Florida. Silver currently runs 50 percent of the flights within Florida and more than 60 percent of the flights between Florida and the Bahamas. www.silverairways.com
