The inaugural Hammerfest fueled by Gatorade Zero is coming to Birmingham on St. Patrick’s day weekend, March 15-17, 2019. More than 20 USA CRITS D1 professional cycling teams will be racing through the streets of the Lakeview district in downtown Birmingham. This exciting, fast-paced criterium racing is not just for the pros. Amateurs and juniors will be tackling the same course and putting their skills to the test.
This special weekend includes something for all ages with a kids’ zone and Shamrock ride where youngsters can show their St. Patrick’s Day spirit and decorate their bicycles – or tricycles. Don’t miss the viewing party at Trim Tab Brewery and all the festivities at the restaurants and bars along 7th Avenue South.
