Located just one mile from Interstate 59/20, Exit 120, the Alabama State Fairgrounds offers a number of attractive options to promoters and exhibitors seeking suitable rental facilities in Birmingham.

With over 110,000 combined square feet available in our State Fair Arena, Exposition Building, the Fairgrounds is equipped to accommodate virtually any show, event, concert or convention, regardless of size. Capacity parking is provided for 7,500 cars.

Acquired by the City of Birmingham in 1947, the Fairgrounds covers 117 acres in Birmingham's western section. Less than 10 minutes from downtown, the Fairgrounds is within walking distance of several neighborhood restaurants and stores. The area also offers a large shopping center nearby, plus a number of fine motels. Overnight camping is available on the Fairgrounds itself.

The Family Fun Center and Sports Amusement Park, located at the Alabama State Fairgrounds, offers amusement rides and miniature golf for birthday parties, camping, picnicking and other outings. Discounts available upon request. For information call (205) 787-8806.
